God spoke to my heart after my convertion in 1980 that he had called me to preach. At that time in my life I did not fully understanand all that God was doing in my life. I went to my leadership, my pastor and explain to him what I had heard in my spirit and was told with much love to wait on my ministry. I know that I took it way beyond just waiting for I waited for over 10 years before I would mention to a dear friend that I had felt the calling of God on my life, and no longer could run away from this call. My first sermon was in 1988 doing a three day revival. I was scared, afraid, but yet knew there was a message burning within. Even after that I still continue to run away from this call. I finally stop running and was license to preach in 1991. I was ordain in the ministry in 1998. I became Assistant Pastor in 1996 and then I moved into the call to Pastor in 1998. God gave me a vision to minister to the whole man, body, soul, and spirit. God allowed me to see how the body of Christ would be ministered in Spirit through his word but live such a defeated life in thier homes, and in their every day life. Sickness destroying their body, and souls being cast down by trails, test, and tribulation. He spoke to my spirit FEED THE WHOLE MAN, SHOW MY PEOPLE HOW TO LIVE IN THE FULLNESS. For if a man is at hunger he can not hear you speak spiritual things, for you must first minister to his need. Feed him physically and then feed him in spirit. God has taught me to show his people how to have what they need. To not only being taught prosperity but how to live in it. To being a steward of what God has given. To have Spirit first, Soul second, and Body last. Seek ye the kingdom of God first, and all these things will be added unto you.
The church was started in May 1998 by the leading of the Holy Ghost. I went into a Community Center with one member every Sunday and preached like it was thousand of people. I remained faithful to doing the will of God with my precious one member for two years until God open the door for us to be blessed with 15 members. The name of the Church was called Household Of Faith Deliverance Church. And then in 2001 God placed it upon our hearts to change the name to Fresh Anointing Ministries.
After starting the church God blessed us to start a Correspondence Home Study School. We have been able to help others who are called by God to gain the wisdom and understanding through his word to receive degrees in the ministry.
God has blessed us with a Food Ministry and was also blessed to be in the Radio Ministry for 7 months before the station was sold.
We also have a Prison Ministry and helping those who are behind prison bars to know, that you may be lock up but never lock out from Gods love and forgiveness.
